How is it that I have a daughter old enough to tell me what kind of party she wants to have?!?  Over the weekend we celebrated EV with our family and close friends by hosting a Berry Sweet Third Birthday Party!  When I asked Elin months ago what kind of party she wanted to have for her third birthday she just kept saying that she wanted a strawberry cake.  I thought this was so adorable, so I took strawberries and went with it.

I found these amazing Berry Sweet invitations on Minted which could not have been more perfect!  They have such a large selection of amazing designs and themes, not to mention the quality is stellar! I love that they have envelopes that match your invitation design, and the option to import as well as pre-address (what a time saver)!  Be sure to also check out their prints and party decor, I found this adorable garland to match the invitations and theme!

I chose to do a brunch party as I did not want to disrupt anyone's nap time, and who doesn't love brunch?  I made an assortment of quiches, fruit salad, and chocolate covered strawberries, Drew was in charge of bacon.  I outsourced a few awesome people in my family to bring sausage bread, cinnamon roll casserole, breakfast pizza, and a tater tot dish.  On tap was strawberry lemonade, cucumber infused water, coffee, tea and of course mimosas!  The gorgeous cake, along with the adorable (and just as scrumptious) custom sugar cookies were from JessiCakes!  If you are local be sure to check her out, she also hosts baking parties right in the second floor of her bakery (how adorable)!

For decor, I kept it pretty simple.  I like to have a display of prints from throughout the year as you will see from EV's Tea for Two party and Felix's Luau First Birthday.  I used washi tape and twine to hang them chronologically.  Most everything else I got from Hobby Lobby, like the mason jar cups with lids (pictured above) which were perfect for the theme.  They also were perfect for toddlers that I didn’t want spilling strawberry lemonade all over my white carpets ha! I sent them home as favors along with homemade strawberry jam! In this same line, I also purchased cups, plates, napkins, and straws, and table cloths.

The jam was an extremely last minute (up to 2:20 am the night before last minute) addition. But I’m so glad I did it, it was much easier than I expected and I followed this recipe and instructional tutorial!  I purchased these one ounce canning jars.

Her dress is from on of my current favorite shops, little girl luxe shoppe. It is breathtaking, and so well made!  When it first came to the house she cried when I told her we had to take it off to save it for party day (heartbreaking but so sweet at the same time). I found a darling little pin as a small touch that she also adored!

I can’t believe our berry sweet little girl is three, she brings so much joy to us and those around her! I would celebrate her with a party every day if I could!

xoxo,

Jenny
